Mansfield

Kelsey Hurst, a junior music education major at Mansfield University, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester with a 3.94 grade-point average.

A 2014 graduate of Marian High School, she is a daughter of Jack and Debbi Hurst, Barnesville, and a granddaughter of Suzanne Hurst, Barnesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Naradko, Pottsville.

Widener

Jack Hurst Jr., a freshman electrical engineering major at Widener University, Chester, made the dean’s list for the spring semester with a 3.95 grade-point average.

A 2016 graduate of Marian High School, he is a son of Jack and Debbi Hurst, Barnesville, and a grandson of Suzanne Hurst, Barnesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Naradko, Pottsville.

Villanova

Nicholas Scicchitano, a sophomore in the Villanova School of Business, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

He is a 2015 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and a James C. Curvey Scholar. Nicholas is a son of Dorothy Scicchitano, Barnesville.

Susquehanna

Ashley Machamer, Lykens, a psychology graduate, is a 2013 graduate of Williams Valley High School and a daughter of Jennifer and Adam Kramer and Mark and Brooke Machamer.

Jaynie Moran, Minersville, a biology graduate, is a 2014 graduate of Minersville Area High School and a daughter of Tom and Sharon Moran.

Joann Butkus, Barnesville, a biochemistry major, is a 2014 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a daughter of Peter and Diane Butkus.

Kelsey Miller, Muir, a biology major, is a 2014 graduate of Williams Valley High School and a daughter of Heidi Brummett.

Damian Munoz, Tamaqua, an art history and self-designed major, is a 2014 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a son of Kyra Dale.

Grace Smith, Schuylkill Haven, a business administration and strategic communications-corporate communications major, is a 2014 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a daughter of Jeff and Linda Smith.

Kara Pytko, Minersville, a biology major, is a 2015 graduate of Minersville Area High School and a daughter of Bernard and Kathleen Pytko.

Tyler Troup, Ashland, a graphic design major, is a 2016 graduate of North Schuylkill High School and a son of Sue McCormick and Randy Troup.

Rebecca Werez, Auburn, a communications: digital multimedia-broadcasting major, is a 2016 graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School and a daughter of Linda Werez and the late Kevin Werez.

Morgan M. Bates, a senior music major at Dickinson College, Carlisle, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

A graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, she is the daughter of Richard Bates and Jennifer Zimmerman-Bates, Schuylkill Haven.

Michaela Eileen Zanis, a junior law and policy and English major at Dickinson College, made the dean’s list for the spring semester.
